The Northern Lights Planetarium

The Northern Lights Planetarium was the first planetarium in Norway open to the public, and is now a part of Nordnorsk vitensenter - the Science Centre of Northern Norway. We have daily all-dome shows with spectacular northern lights, night sky constellations and journeys through the solar system and across the universe to distant galaxies.

The planetarium is located on the Tromsø campus of the Arctic University of Norway and is the first Norwegian planetarium open to the public. The planetarium has seating for 95 people under a 12.2 meters (40 feet) dome and is the largest in Norway. It runs on software delivered by Sky-Skan..
