Ten Tromsø-attractions, Visit Tromsø og Thon hotels Tromsø have worked together to develop the "Become a Tromsø Expert" card, where children need to collect stamps from all the attractions they visit. When you have collected three stamps or more, you can submit your card, and we will draw winner of a dream weekend for the whole family on a chosen Thon hotel in Norway. If you complete all stamps, you are also eligeble to win a gift box full or surprises.
Each attraction has a task to solve. This way, the children (and maybe the adults too) will learn more about Tromsø. You will get the task at Nordnorsk vitensenter, the Science Centre of Northern Norway, when you buy a ticket. If you don't already have the "Become a Tromsø Expert" card, you may get one from us for free. When the task is solved, it will be verified at our reception and gift shop. If everything is OK, you will get our stamp and can continue on your quest.
Opening hours and contest dates
The competition lasts from June 20th to August 20th 2023.
The Science Centre is open every day from 10.00 - 17.00 (10 am to 5 pm).
Tickets
Included in our tickets are planetarium shows and our interactive exhibition with over 100 installations, where people of all ages can play and learn about science. On our roof terrace we have several fun challanges, which you can solve alone or in teams. You can also enjoy an ice cream from our gift shop, or enjoy your own food on our benches and tables in the open.
