The Science Centre of Northern Norway is located on campus at the University of Tromsø. The centre uses both the old plantarium building and the new science center building that was readied in 2010. The entrance to the Science Centre is on the street Hansine Hansens veg across from the administration building of the University.

The Science Centre is about a 40-minute walk from downtown Tromsø. Access by bus is very good and there are parking areas on campus as well.
